Kensington Park welcomes premier sister community in White Plains, NY

Fountain Square Properties, LLC is proud to announce its new senior housing division, Kensington Senior Living, and the development of The Kensington in White Plains, New York.

This unique five-story senior living community will consist of assisted living and a specialized memory support unit for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other cognitive impairments. This facility will contain 87 units, located on Maple Avenue between Longview Avenue and Cromwell Place. Situated 25 miles from midtown Manhattan and only minutes from Tarrytown and Scarsdale, this community will offer accessibility and convenience to residents and their families.

The Kensington will offer 53 assisted living units and 34 Alzheimer’s units, with ten different floor plans to meet the needs, life styles and care levels of residents. Overall, the property will accommodate 105 residents. Scheduled to break ground in October, 2009, The Kensington anticipates their grand opening in third quarter 2011.

The mission is to create a modern, state-of-the-art assisted living and Alzheimer’s care community that will provide an unparalleled level of quality care in the Westchester County area. The Project is uniquely positioned to benefit from its location neighboring a large medical center that includes medical office buildings, the White Plains Hospital Medical Center, the New York Presbyterian Hospital, the Dickstein Cancer Center and the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital.
