Randy A. East Appointed to the Board of Director’s for the
Alzheimer’s Association - National Capital Area.
Announced June 4, 2008: Randy A. East, Director of Sales and Marketing at Kensington Park Retirement Community was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association – National Capital Area.
Mr. East was chosen based on his personal and professional experience with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. He has also volunteered with the association for several years and chaired the 2007 and 2008 Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk at Kensington Park.
“Randy has served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Kensington Park Retirement Community for the past five years and we applaud his professional success,” said Eltonette Proctor - Executive Director at Kensington Park. “This appointment is undoubtedly another tribute to the dedication and compassion he demonstrates for the people we serve.”
As part of a nationwide network of chapters, the Alzheimer's Association - National Capital Area Chapter provides help and hope to over 460,000 individuals - including those diagnosed, their families and care partners. Services include counseling, information and education for families and caregivers; support groups; Safe Return; training for professionals; community education; and government advocacy on the state and local levels.
